12 Chinese Historical Photos That Has Been Altered

  In the history of human, how many truths are left is a permanent and unsolvable question, out of which some were lost and some were altered purposely. Those pictures below are the latter. The reasons are various ranging from politics to aesthetics. But one thing is for sure, truth can be tucked away, the desire to truth can’t.



Lin Biao was striked out in the lower picture.  As one of the most important general in Chinese modern history, he was conceived as betraying the Communist Party of China and persecuting leaders of both the country and the communist party during his later years.



Peng Dehuai was cancelled in the upper picture. Just like Lin Biao, Peng Dehuai played the same role in Chinese modern history, and he was put into prison for eight years for allegedly betrayed the communist party before his death caused by cancer. 




The leading role in these three picture was Mao Zedong.




Those less important, including Khrushchev, were removed to throw up Mao Zedong and Josef Stalin.( As I ,by “I”, I mean the owner of the blog , recall , our history textbook choose the altered one in itself.)





The entourage of President Mao was omitted.



The man working with Mao Zedong was deleted.



The umbrella-holding staff was deleted.




The second in the back row from left was Lin Yutang, a master of Chinese language, who was cancelled for escaped to Taiwan after the foundation of People’s Republic of China. The first man in the back row from left was cancelled along with Lin Yutang for aesthetics.



The messy bush in the left was altered into upright pine. The soldier is Lei Feng, a sample of devotion
forged by the communist party.



It was until 1986 that all publication in China could only use the upper one, which was altered.


The left one that omitted was one of the first leaders of the Communist Party of China. He was recuperating during war period in Soviet without taking his part in those wars, for which he was criticized.


The shaggy boy eating was struck out.
